The Adkins Inline / Compact / Pro DTF dryers monitor the weight of the powder sitting on the film as it passes through the oven. This weight value (0 - 100%) is then used (in conjunction with other parameters) to tell the system when to feed the film through the printer in automatic mode.
It is therefore important that the weight sensor is working and can detect when powder is applied to the film.
The onscreen display shows the weight value next to the 'powder' option.
Over time it may be that this weight sensor does not reach 0 or 100 and therefore needs calibration. To do this please see the video below:
[for Adkins Inline 800] Firstly, access the calibration screen by selecting to view the "IO" Menu, then select "?". Then select "Next" 3 times to get to the final page of monitoring notes. From this page, tap the top right corner of the screen and a password entry box will appear.
Input the password "1234" and press "Enter" to confirm.
[for Adkins Compact 600 / 900 / 900 pro] Access the calibration screen by selecting 'settings', then select "?". From this page, tap the top right corner of the screen and a password entry box will appear.
Input the password "1234" and press "Enter" to confirm.
